4-ply Opal Child's Raglan Jumper

Materials: 2 balls Opal Uni, 1 ball Opal contrast, pair 2.75 mm knitting needles

Back & front: (both the same)
Using 2.75mm needles cast on 78 (90, 98, 110) sts. St stitch for 12 (16, 18, 21) cm ending with right side. Join in contrast and knit a further 5cm.

Next row:
Cast off 4 stitches at the beginning of next 2 rows. Continue decreasing 1 stitch at end of each alternate row until contrast measures 10cm. Join in main colour and keep decreasing in the same manner until 30 (34, 38, 44) sts remain. Knit a further 20 rows in st stitch, cast off.
Sleeves: Using main and 2.75mm needles cast on 43(48, 48, 54) sts. St stitch for 14 rows. Inc 1 stitch at each edge of next and every fol 4th row until 66 (76, 84, 90) sts.
Remembering to join in contrast at 11 (14, 17.5, 21.5)cm. Continue increasing in contrast until 16 (19, 21.5, 26.5)cm. Still using contrast cast off 4 stitches at the beginning of next two rows. Then 2 sts each alternate row until contrast measures 10cm. Join main colour and keep decreasing in the same manner until 4 (6, 8, 10) sts remain. St stitch another 20 rows, cast off.

Turn up body and sleeve hems 1.5 cm and stitch. Stitch raglan sleeve and body seams to match. Stitch body and sleeve seams. Turn down neck edge 2cm and stitch.

Then give yourself a pat on the back!
